12th Annual Bob Wilson Memorial Fun Fly - August 7th, 2010
 Mark your calendar for this date. The 12th Annual Bob Wilson Memorial will be on Saturday August 7th, 2010. Pilots will start showing up at 7 am and the mandatory pilots meeting is at 9 am. Let all your friends know too. It is sure to be a great event this year. Drowning Creek Fire Dept will be serving breakfast until 9:30 am and then lunch until they run out of food. Get your planes fixed and charged up for the biggest event this year other than Joe Nall. All types of airplanes, jets, and helicopters are welcome. Come and enjoy the fun and hospitality!!

We had a special surprise guest!!!
 AMA President Dave Mathewson stopped by our field Saturday June 6th during the 2009 Warbirds Over Wilson Field. He met and spoke with many of our club members. It was a bigger surprise later that day for Bliss Teague who was celebrating his 50th Anniversary with his wife Shirley when Dave showed up unannounced. Needless to say it a was special day for all of us who attended.
